Start preparing food items. Go through food inventory and supplies. Order as needed.
Clean enclosures.
Check each animal for any issues and clean them as needed.
Feed the animals and change water.
Clean zoo areas.
Throughout the day. Keep vigilance of guests, their safety, and the animals. Be ready to answer questions and guide the public through exhibits. Spot clean as necessary. Follow specimen specific enrichment procedures under guidance and supervision of a qualified professional or supervisor.
At closing. Change the water as needed. Verify that all animals are in their enclosure and the locks are secured. Close access to zoo areas. Return keys to safe box.
