Parque de las Ciencias becomes the epicenter of flavor with the arrival of the Rice Festival 2026, the largest festival dedicated to rice, under an irresistible All You Can Eat concept.
Four types of dishes per category will elevate the culinary experience in three grand styles: Mamposteao, Risotto, and Paella, each led by a renowned chef bringing their signature of excellence and creativity.
University Competition
Each chef's kitchen team will be made up of talented students from three universities, competing for three prestigious scholarship categories:
- 1st place: $12,000
- 2nd place: $8,000
- 3rd place: $4,000
Participating universities: Universidad Interamericana, Universidad Ana G. Méndez, and NUC University.
More Than Rice
The festival celebrates not only rice but also culture and entertainment. Attendees will enjoy live music, a wide variety of cocktails, and exclusive VIP “Meet & Greet” areas for an up-close experience with the chefs and event stars.
